God's Power

Do you feel weak?  Do you feel like it is hard to do God's will in your life?

Someone once said that the Christian life isn't hard, it's impossible.  In our own strength we cannot obey God.

So how can we live the Christian life?  If we have received Christ, God lives inside of us.  He has the ability to live out the Christian life completely.  We ask him to give us the power to live for Him.  

John 15:4,5  "Remain in me, and I will remain in you.  No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine.  Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.  I am the vine; you are branches.  If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."

This has been called "the abiding life".  As I abide in Christ he gives me the power to do what is right.  I simply have to ask him.
